And how are the Madeira Still Wines classified?

The indications usually used on the labelling of Madeira still wines are “Reserva” –  reserved for wine associated to the harvest year that presents specific organoleptic characteristics, among other more technical characteristics.
"GRANDE ESCOLHA " [Great Choice]  reserved for wine that presents specific organoleptic characteristics and which is associated to the harvest year. However, all indications authorized for the wines entitled to a DO or GI may be used on their labelling, such as, for instance, “Reserva Especial” [Special Reserve], “Superior”, “Premium”, among others.
