A visit to the town of Vila Baleira will inevitably take you to the Infante D. Henrique Avenue Garden. A green space of reference in this city, the garden is marked by a palm-tree-lined avenue leading to the old pier. In this space you can also find dragon trees, bougainvillea and other flowers.
Frequented by locals and tourists alike, the garden displays several statues and monuments, including the statue of the navigator Christopher Columbus, the statue of Infante D. Henrique and that of the Boatman.
