Market of Santa Cruz
The Municipal Market of Santa Cruz is modernist architecture and contains two ceramic panels designed by António Aragão.
The Municipal Market of Santa Cruz, dedicated on July 20th, 1962, is the only agricultural market in this parish. This space is best known as the Village Market, and in addition to being agricultural is also a fish market.
Its modernist architecture construction, which dates from the second half of the 20th century, features a rectangular plan. The top third of one of the wider facades is decorated with grillwork, and the entrance, protected by a small portico, is flanked by multicoloured panels of glazed with a figurative composition, topped by rectangular windows.
