The island of Madeira, because of its privileged geographical position and mountainous relief, have a surprisingly mild climate.Very mild average temperatures, 25ºC in the summer and 17ºC in the winter, and a moderate level of humidity, confer upon this island exceptional subtropical features.
The seawater temperature is also very mild, because of the influence of the warm Gulf current, presenting averages of 22ºC in the summer and 18º in the winter.

The “Madeira Wine Rally”, is the largest racing event in the Region to be held on August,4th to 6th.

The Madeira Sports Club promotes the traditional, and now historic, Madeira Wine Rally, a sporting event that attracts many who are curious and passionate about motorsports, gathering along the regional roads to watch the cars pass by and see the skill of the pilots.
