The “Madeira Film Experience” offers to its visitors a unique chronological and interactive journey through 600 years of history of Madeira Island, regarded as “The Pearl of the Atlantic”.
Located at Marina Shopping Center, this leisure area invites visitors to travel back through time and space, via an audio-visual and scenic experience, that lasts 30 minutes, where one is presented with facts and historic scenery, in a room equipped with an audio guide system available in five languages (Portuguese, English, French German and Dutch).
This culture project is based on other assets, including a promotional website and a free application “Madeira History Guide”, a detailed information guide, which aids in the discovery of some of the main areas of local interest and gives an insight into the must-sees of the heart of Funchal.
