Rhythm takes over Praça do Povo with New Year's concerts
Praça do Povo will be center stage of two concerts: one held during New Year's Eve and the second, shortly after the stroke of midnight.
The first concert will take place on December 31st, at 10.30 pm, guesting Tiago and Elisa, playing their very own and intimate covers, ranging from some of the greatest classical music songs, up to today’s biggest hits.
Around 00:30am, on January 1st, the show goes on with the well known artist Mimicat, a portuguese performer, singer and songwriter, who owns a a deep soulful voice, inspired by some of the greatest soul voices and very passionate about Pop music. Mimicat promises a stronger and more dramatic insight of her work, which will surely appeal to the spectators at downtown Funchal.
