New air connections towards Madeira Island
This summer, the Madeira Airport will feature 26 additional flights per week, especially from the Portuguese and European markets.
This confluence of air traffic will boost the tourism sector and improve the air accessibilities to this destination, contributing to increase the number of entrances and stays of both national and foreign citizens.
This increase in air connections will have as points of origin mainland Portugal, United Kingdom, Germany and France, displaying a 10 % increase compared with the previous corresponding period.
