The island of Madeira, because of its privileged geographical position and mountainous relief, have a surprisingly mild climate.Very mild average temperatures, 25ºC in the summer and 17ºC in the winter, and a moderate level of humidity, confer upon this island exceptional subtropical features.
The seawater temperature is also very mild, because of the influence of the warm Gulf current, presenting averages of 22ºC in the summer and 18º in the winter.

Madeira Promotion Bureau awarded

The Madeira Promotion Bureau has been awarded with several 2017 M&P Communication Awards, some of the most prestigious in this field.

Promoted by the Meios & Publicidade journal, the M&P Communication Awards seek to recognise the best communications and public relations campaigns undertaken by communications consultants and companies that are active or originate in Portugal.

Of the 51 existing categories divided across 13 fields, the Madeira Promotion Association was distinguished with the following awards:
