Water sports enthusiasts have a reference meeting point on the golden island. We are, of course, talking about the Clube Naval do Porto Santo. This space is dedicated to promoting water sports, more or less radical, and to developing nautical tourism on the island.
Located in the Porto Santo Marina, the club was founded on 9 September 1982. It's a public utility institution, established as a non-profit association. As such, it assumes as its central mission the promotion of activities that have the experience of the ocean as a protagonist.
Whether among locals or visitors, success is guaranteed by the excellent conditions that the sea offers here, with a temperature that varies, in summer, between 24 °C and 25 °C, for example. Sports enthusiasts can therefore visit this space to practice a wide range of sports. These include kayaking, sailing, canoeing, swimming or stand up paddling.
Both experienced and beginners, of all ages, can enjoy a safe and certainly fun sporting experience. In addition, the Clube Naval do Porto Santo organises regular meetings and regattas.
