Gorgulho Beach is a small pebble beach, with a solarium area, located in the Lido area, right next to the promenade, less than 200 metres from the Lido Bathing Complex.
Benefiting from a cosmopolitan atmosphere, to which the existence of several benchmark restaurants and hotels in the archipelago contributes a lot, this is a bathing area that you can enjoy all year round, being an excellent option for a quick dip.
It should be noted that this is an unsupervised beach, so you should take every precaution both in and out of the water. Also, in the immediate proximity of this beach you can find several bars and cafes, as well as a large garden that, together, create very pleasant surroundings.
Our recommendation is that after your daily jog along the seafront public promenade, you go and refresh yourself with a swim at Gorgulho Beach and then have a toast, to celebrate life, in any of the bars surrounding this beach, while gazing the warm and orange tones of the last rays of sunshine.
